A 33-year-old woman has been charged with stealing expensive jackets from a Hedge End outdoor retailer.
It follows a report of a theft of several The North Face Diablo jackets.
These were allegedly taken from Cotswold Outdoor on Lower Northam Road in Hedge End on Monday, February 12, according to a police spokesman.
Police said Anna Marie Cooper, 33, of Ashby Road, Totton, has been charged with shoplifting from a Hedge End store.
Cooper, who appeared at Southampton Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, March 29, has been remanded on conditional bail.
She is next due to appear at the same court on Monday, August 12.
