Police have confirmed that no injuries were reported after a Lotus collided with a barrier on the M271.

The incident took place shortly after 7am on Thursday morning, April 4, which resulted in one lane being blocked on the southbound carriageway between Junction 3 of the M27 and Junction 1 at Brownhill Way.

Congestion tailed back onto the M27 until delays cleared a little after 9am, as motorists went about their day with many people still off work during the Easter holidays.
