A lane has been partially blocked on the Itchen Bridge due to concerns for the welfare of a woman.
Police were called at 4.25pm today due to concerns for the woman who was located on the bridge.
She is now being supported by emergency services.

One lane was partially blocked with one police car parked in the eastbound lane.
Traffic began to build up around Central Bridge.
Emergency services have now left the scene.
