A Totton man who was "dragged" from his flat and arrested on suspicion of assault has been released on bail.
Employees working on Rumbridge Street in Totton said they watched in shock as police dragged a man from his flat and arrested him.
Seven police vehicles and an ambulance descended on the Totton road on Wednesday, April 10 at around 1.30pm after reports that a man had been assaulted inside his home.

Police previously said that a man in his 40 was taken to hospital after suffering minor injuries.
A spokesperson for the force said: “We were called at about 1.30pm yesterday, April 10, to a report of an assault inside an address on Rumbridge Street, Totton.
"During the incident, a man in his 40s suffered minor injuries.
"A 35-year-old man from Totton was arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm. He has been released on bail until 10 July while enquiries continue."
