Southampton City Council is warning drivers in the city to brace for heavy traffic and expect delays to their journey.
The warning comes as several cruise ships are to arrive in the city today, with the council stating that the waterfront area is expected to be particularly busy.
Iconic P&O cruise ship, Arcadia made it into Southampton at ten to five this morning and is to be docked for the remainder of the day - until it departs for the Norwegian Fjords at around 6pm tonight.
High volumes of cruise passengers are expected in the city today with cruise ships arriving/departing.
