The following cases have been heard at Southampton Magistrates' Court...

AARON STILLWELL, 29, of Orchard Lane, Southampton pleaded guilty to assault by beating and using threatening or abusive words or behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress. He received a one-year community order with 15 rehabilitation days and 100 hours of unpaid work. He must pay a £50 fine, £500 court costs and a £114 surcharge. 

BLEDAR BICUKU, 33, of Dean Road, Southampton admitted to drug driving and driving without insurance in a Volvo XC90 in Clarendon Place, Portsmouth. He was banned from driving for three years and fined £120. Bicuku must also pay £85 court costs and a £48 surcharge. 

GIA SOKHASHVILI, 44, of Alma Road, Southampton admitted to failing to provide a specimen for analysis in Southampton. He received a one-year community order with five rehabilitation days and 100 hours of unpaid work. He was banned from driving for 18 months and must pay £85 court costs plus a £114 surcharge.

BEN WEAVER, 34, of Legged Cross, Wimbourne pleaded guilty to two counts of theft from a shop after £134 worth of hats, throws and various other items were stolen from B&M and Next in Southampton. He was ordered to pay £134 compensation and an £80 fine as well as £45 court costs. 

COLIN WOOD, 42, of Howard Road, Southampton admitted to assault by beating and possessing a controlled drug of Class B, namely cannabis. Wood received a 12-month conditional discharge. An order was made for the forfeiture and destruction of the drugs. 

NILTON BRITO DUARTE, 32 of Brinsley Close, Southampton pleaded guilty to failing to report an accident as the driver of a vehicle. This relates to an incident on Hinkler Road, Southampton where a lamp post was damaged. He was fined £166 and received five points on his licence. Duarte was ordered to pay £85 court costs and a £66 surcharge.
