Emergency services have been called due to concerns for the welfare of a girl on the Itchen Bridge.
Officers attended the bridge in Southampton just after 8pm yesterday evening (May 11).
The westbound lane was blocked whilst police dealt with the incident and motorists were told to approach with caution.
The girl was located by officers.
All lanes reopened at around 9pm.
