A prolific shoplifter who targeted Co-Op stores across Southampton has been jailed.
Shaun Foskett, 33, was caught stealing 18 times from three Co-Op stores between February 8 and April 26 this year.
Southampton Magistrates' Court heard how he stole £812.53 worth of goods in total.
He targeted shops in High Street, Archers Mews and Alexandra Wharf.

Foskett, of no fixed address, admitted 18 charges of theft from a shop.
He also admitted a charge of failing or refusing to provide a sample for a Class A drug test while in custody. Foskett was jailed for 20 weeks.
Magistrates found that the shoplifter has a "flagrant disregard for court orders" and that "only a custodial sentence can be justified".
They did not order him to pay compensation due to his limited means.
