A Southampton man has been ordered to pay more than £2,000 after he was caught at more than double the drink-drive limit.
Rosemon Pereira was stopped as he drove a Nissan along Shirley Road on August 28, 2023.
He was found to have 81 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath - more than double the legal limit of 35 micrograms.

The 29-year-old of Sedbergh Road, Southampton pleaded guilty to a single count of drink driving at Southampton Magistrates' Court.
He was banned from driving for two years and fined £1,500.
Pereira was also ordered to pay £300 court costs and a £600 surcharge.
This must be paid in full by May 30, 2024.
