Great grandmother Miranda Hailstone, who is 73 and lives in West End, said: "It's lovely and feels quite special. We're so proud to have five generations of females in the family.

"We're a very big family and have lots of celebrations planned, especially when another daughter comes over from Australia in September with one of her sons and his children."

The celebration saw the girls and their mum, 25-year-old Erin Kelly, from Thornhill, meet up with their grandmother, 52-year-old Marianne Pratt from Sholing, great grandmother and great great grandmother.

Olive has the name Oakleigh as one of her middle names in memory of her twin sister who was born sleeping on February 24.
