The following cases have been heard at Southampton Magistrates' Court...

ROBERT BOULDING, 36, of Waterloo Road, Southampton pleaded guilty to six counts of theft from a shop. These relate to £262.10 worth of meat and cream eggs stolen from Co-Op in Southampton. He received an 18-month community order with 15 rehabilitation days and 100 hours of unpaid work. He must also pay back the value of the stolen items in compensation. 

MARK BLACKBURN, 53, of Lime Street, Southampton admitted to causing £1,000 worth of damage to a cabinet at JD Sports in Southampton. He also pleaded guilty to a single count of assault by beating. Blackburn received a six-month conditional discharge and was ordered to pay £150 in compensation. 

LOUISE MILLER, 46, of Eastlands, New Milton admitted two counts of theft from a shop after she stole £106.78 worth of meat products and other items from Tesco in New Milton and Southampton. Miller was fined £60 and must pay £83.28 in compensation.

LEO KIRBY, 19, of St Michaels Grove, Fareham pleaded guilty to driving with no insurance and exceeding a 40mph speed limit at James Callaghan Drive, Portsdown Hill. He was caught at 69mph whilst driving a Ford. Kirby was banned from driving for two months and fined £120. He was also ordered to pay £85 court costs and a £72 surcharge. 

JAMIE JOHNSON, 31, of Sussex Road, Chandler's Ford pleaded guilty to six counts of theft from a shop after he stole energy drinks, meat, confectionary and coffee worth £329.50 from Co-Op in Southampton. He was ordered to pay back the value of the stolen goods in compensation. 

HARRY HAMSON, 29, of Lymington Road, Brockenhurst admitted to drink driving a BMW on Burley Road, Brockenhurst. He was caught with 44 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath. Hamson was banned for six months and fined £80. He was ordered to pay £85 court costs and a £32 surcharge.
