A speeder who was clocked at double the limit on the M27 has been handed a hefty fine.
Fazal Karimi, 24, was driving a Suzuki on the M27 westbound when he was caught driving at 60mph.
A speed limit of 30mph was in force at the time of the offence on May 15 of last year.
He was clocked by an automatic speed camera on the westbound side near Hedge End.

Karimi, of Shakespeare Avenue, Southampton, pleaded guilty to one count of exceeding a variable speed limit.
He received a £340 fine and six points on his licence at a hearing at Southampton Magistrates’ Court on May 23.
The 24-year-old was also ordered to pay £85 court costs and a surcharge of £136.
This must be paid in full by June 20 2024.
