A man found carrying eight bags of cocaine has been slapped with a fine.
Selim Dafku, 25, was in Bursledon when he was caught with the Class A drug.
The incident on January 16 in this year resulted in him being hauled before court.
Dafku, of Charlton Road, Southampton, pleaded guilty to one count of being in possession of a Class A drug, namely cocaine.

He was handed a £400 fine, and the cocaine was ordered to be forfeited and destroyed during the hearing at Southampton Magistrates’ Court on May 23.
The 25-year-old must also pay court costs of £85 and a surcharge of £160.
This must be paid in full by June 20 2024.
