It's been a week since Saints made their return to the Premier League with a 1-0 win over Leeds in the Championship play-off final.
Now that the celebrational dust is settling, The Echo reflects back on the monumental day of April 28, 2012 - the last time Saints were promoted into the top-flight of English football.
A dozen years have passed since the magnificent victory of Saints over Coventry City and these pictures show the fans from that special day.
The historic match drew a massive crowd of 32,363 fans as Coventry suffered a crushing defeat of four goals, before they turned the green pitch into a vibrant sea of red and white.
