A COMMISION for Social Care report carried out on September 26 stated the threatened care home Birch Lawn was ranked as "good."
It drew particular attention to how staff at the home made sure that everyone's health and safety needs were fully met, the wide range of activities on offer and positive comments by residents about their meals.
It also praised staff levels and training, the way the home dealt with complaints and pre-admission procedure.
The report further praised the home for responding to the findings of an earlier report which pushed for changes to medical administration and fire provisions.
According to the report the inspector could not find any area in which it needed to improve.
Under the health and personal care category of the report it stated: "People are treated with respect."
