The following cases have been heard at Southampton Magistrates' Court...
DAVID TIMNEY, 46, of Edelvale Road, Southampton pleaded guilty to driving without a licence and driving without insurance at Crossley Place, Southampton. He received a six-month driving ban with six penalty points and a £120 fine. Timney was ordered to pay £85 court costs.
SHAUN WILLSHER, 46, of Cedar Road, Hythe admitted a charge of harassment in breach of a restraining order in Totton. He was fined £150 and must pay £85 court costs.
EDWARD FOOTE, 47, of Wells Place, Eastleigh pleaded guilty to two counts of assault by beating of an emergency worker. These relate to police officers. He received a one-year community order with 15 rehabilitation days. He must pay £320 compensation.

JAN HANSEN, 41, of Tunstall Road, Southampton pleaded guilty to two counts of burglary. These relate to a storage container worth £405 stolen from a property on Beacon Road, West End and alcohol stolen from the Fox and Hounds pub in Bursledon worth £60. He also admitted two counts of theft from a shop after £209.80 worth of goods were stolen from One Stop on Portsmouth Road, Bursledon and Co-Op on High Street, Hamble-le-Rice. Hansen pleaded guilty to theft from a motor vehicle as well after £300 of goods were stolen in Bamber Close, West End. He was jailed for nine months and must pay £200 compensation.
GRANT NICHOLAS, 28, of no fixed abode pleaded guilty to failing to comply with a community protection notice. This came after he entered Above Bar Street, Southampton despite being banned from the city centre. He was fined £50.
JOHN STEWART PEARSON, 70, of Filbridge Rise, Sturminster Newton was convicted of exceeding a temporary 50mph speed restriction on the M3 southbound between junctions nine and eleven at Winchester. He was caught at 61mph in a Volkswagen. Pearson was fined £92 and received three penalty points. He must also pay £110 court costs and a £37 surcharge.
