A festivalgoer in her 40s has died at Isle of Wight Festival 2024, police have confirmed.
The death is not being treated as suspicious, Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary said.
Officers were alerted to the campsite at 10.51am yesterday (Thursday).
It was confirmed a festival-goer in her 40s had died suddenly.
A file is being prepared for the coroner and the woman's family are aware, police said.
A spokesperson for Isle of Wight Festival said: "The team at the Isle of Wight Festival are deeply saddened by the passing of a festivalgoer on Thursday morning.
"Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with her family and friends."
