Police have released a CCTV photo after a teenage boy was allegedly slapped on a Bluestar bus in Southampton.
Hampshire Police said the boy was travelling on the number 17 bus in the city when he was slapped in the face by an unknown man.
He sustained minor injuries to his face.
The incident happened on May 15 between 3pm and 3.30pm.
Now a photo has been released of a man who was seen in the area at the time and who police believe can help with the investigation.

He is described as white, aged between 40 and 50.
He was wearing a green cap, grey shirt, jeans and a blue bomber jacket with a small bag over his shoulder.
A police spokesperson said: "Do you know this man?
"Officers investigating the assault of a 13-year-old boy in Southampton would like to speak to him in connection with their enquiries.
"If this is you, or if you recognise him, please call us on 101 quoting the reference 44240203740.
