Swaythling McDonald's staff have been cleaning up their community, collecting eight bags of rubbish to help give their area a summer revamp.
The team and a youth group members began their project by undertaking litter picks and jet-washing Swaythling Railway Station.
The volunteers also tidied the flower beds and memorial garden, adding new plants to freshen the area.
Tony Bennett, the franchisee who owns 20 restaurants across Hampshire, Wiltshire, and Dorset, said, "As a local business, it’s vital that we do our part to give back to our local community.
"I’m proud to be a part of initiatives that make Swaythling a better and brighter place for those who live here, especially as McDonald’s celebrates its 50th anniversary in the UK."
The food bank within the railway station was also rejuvenated before its food and equipment supplies were replenished.
McDonald's workers in the UK have been cleaning up litter for over 35 years, covering 5,000 miles a week.
