The Princess Royal will visit the Southampton International Boat Show on its opening day.
Princess Anne, known for her support of marine charities, will enjoy some of the boat show's most awaited highlights, including global debuts and live water events.
During her visit on September 13, the princess will explore the latest designs and technical developments in the boating industry.
Chief executive of British Marine, Lesley Robinson, said: "Welcoming HRH The Princess Royal at the show is not just a highlight for us — it energises the entire marine industry.
"It’s a unique opportunity for Her Royal Highness to engage with the show’s exhibitors and many of the pioneering innovations on display at the show that are defining the future of the marine world."
Marking its 55th edition, the Southampton International Boat Show is the UK's biggest boating and water sports festival, offering a distinct mix of family entertainment, shopping opportunities, and live music, which secures its place as a must-visit event in the marine calendar.
The show is open from 10am-6pm but closes at 5pm on the final Sunday. The Shipyard has extended hours until 9pm on both Saturdays.
