The following cases have been heard at Southampton Magistrates' Court...
PAULA FRAMPTON, 40, of Woodlands Way, Bursledon pleaded guilty to two counts of common assault of an emergency worker, assault by beating of an emergency worker and assault occasioning actual bodily harm in Southampton. She was given an eight-week sentence suspended for 12 months with 20 rehabilitation days. She must pay £300 compensation.
MICHAL CHALADA, 42, of Middle Road, Southampton admitted possessing a knife and using threatening or abusive words or behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress in Middle Road. He received a 12-week sentence suspended for 12 months with 80 hours of unpaid work. He must pay £85 court costs and a £154 surcharge. An order was made for the forfeiture and destruction of the knife.

MATTHEW HUNT, 35, of Alder Road, Maybush pleaded guilty to two charges of drug driving, driving while disqualified and driving without a valid test certificate. He was caught driving a Ford Transit at Charlotte Place in Southampton. Hunt has benzoylecgonine and cocaine in his blood at the time. He received a one-year community order with a drug rehabilitation requirement, 15 rehabilitation days and a 38-month driving ban. He must pay a £100 fine and £85 court costs.
GARRY FINNIE, 31, of The Moorings, Fareham admitted to drink driving an Audi on Northam Road in Southampton. He was caught with 40 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of his breath. Finnie was banned from driving for 12 months and was fined £756. He must pay £400 court costs and a £302 surcharge.
MARTYN GODDARD, 37, of Cranbury Avenue, Southampton pleaded guilty to theft from a shop after £14 worth of chocolate was stolen from Sainsbury's in Southampton. He also admitted to using threatening or abusive words or behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress. Goddard was fined £40 and must pay £85 court costs.
