A Hampshire business leader has completed108 fire walks in just 40 minutes as part of a daredevil training regime.

Jeff Shrimpton, a business coach, has recently completed rigorous training to facilitate personal development workshops featuring high-octane activities such as hot coal walking and breaking wooden boards.

Jeff completed his training in May 2023 to launch 'Evolution Empowerment Events,' a personal development program.

He completed his instructor training in May 2023 and is determined to help others after his own life was changed when he took part in a fire walk in 2005.

He said: "The hardest part of my training was shedding the mask I had been wearing for so long, and allowing myself to feel vulnerable.

"Letting go of control takes great courage, but changes your life for the better.”

The program draws from Jeff's life-changing experience with a fire-walk in 2005, pushing individuals out of their comfort zone to unlock their potential.

Jeff's nine-day instructor training was a test of his endurance.

Apart from performing 108 consecutive fire-walks in under an hour, he also bent a metal wire against his neck using his body weight.

This intense training experience, according to Jeff, is a demonstration that he has completed 'tenfold' of what his participants will be subjected to.

Jeff also gained knowledge on the nuts and bolts of organising his own event.

This includes knowledge on the specific wood best for firewalks and techniques of a comprehensive risk assessment to ensure participant safety.

The program, aimed at overcoming fears, is open for booking as a personal, team, or charity event.

Participants so far have been full of praise, with Greg from Lee-on-the-Solent saying that he felt “knackered but energised at the same time. Determined to make the changes I want to see in my life.”
