Police were in a residential street following an incident, residents have said.
Multiple police cars were in Montague Avenue and Montague Close in Sholing, Southampton, on Saturday night.
Residents said they remained there until around midnight.
One resident said: "There were eight police cars, two police vans and one ambulance.
"They shut the shop because of it."

Other residents reported seeing "loads of police cars" and hearing a group of youths shouting.
Hampshire Constabulary has since confirmed why officers were called.
A spokesperson said: "We were called shortly after 8pm yesterday, Saturday August 24, to a report of a public order incident on Montague Avenue.
“Officers attended the area and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding the report.
“If anyone was in the area at the time and witnessed the incident, or has any footage to assist with our enquiries, they should call 101 and quote incident number 44240364216.”
