A major road in the centre of Gosport is set to be shut this week as Hampshire County Council carries out road works.
Drivers are being warned that Military Road in Gosport is set to be closed for highway repair work by Hampshire County Council’s highway teams next month.
The road will be shut from Wednesday, September 4, to Saturday, September 7, between the hours of 7pm and 6am.

A notice on One.Network reads: “Overnight closure for highway maintenance works.
“Access to properties maintained either by signed diversion or by operatives, although there may be a short wait whilst the site is made safe.”
A diversion route has been set up through Grange Road which runs parallel to Military Road.
Footpaths will be left accessible to residents and parents for drop off and collection to Brune Park community School.
A small part of Station Road off of Military Road will also be blocked as part of the works.
