A boy was hospitalised after a serious assault at a train station.
Officers from British Transport Police (BTP) were called to Southampton Airport Parkway shortly before 5pm on Wednesday.
A 17-year-old boy was found injured and taken to hospital by paramedics.
His injuries are not believed to be life changing or life threatening.

A man in his 40s was arrested in connection with the incident and remains in police custody.
Anyone with information is urged to contact BTP.
A spokesperson said: “Anyone with information who is yet to get in touch by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 472 of 28/08/24."
