A man and a woman have been remanded in custody after appearing in court accused of breaking into homes on Bitterne Road West.
Ryszard Czochara, 52, and Barbara Czochara, 47, both of no fixed abode appeared at Southampton Magistrates' Court on Thursday.
They are charged with burglary or criminal damage and are yet to enter a plea.
The pair will now appear at Southampton Crown Court on September 24.

Magistrates remanded them in custody.
It follows an incident at around 8pm on Tuesday evening (August 27) when police were called to a row of homes on Bitterne Road West.
Officers were seen going in and out of properties near the junction with Rampart Road.
Hampshire Constabulary later confirmed that nothing had been reported stolen and there were no injuries caused.
"Significant damage" was caused to two properties.
