A main road in Thornhill is due to close as the council carries out repairs.
Hinkler Road will be shut from October 27 to November 8 as resurfacing takes place.
It comes as residents have noted a large number of potholes in the area.
From the 27 of October to the 1 November, the road will be closed between the hours of 8:00am to 5pm.
From 4 to 8 November, the road will be shut between the hours on 9:30am to 2:30pm – minimising the impact on drivers and residents.
A diversion route has been set up, which takes residents to Warburton Road, joining Hinkler Road after the area of road works.
