A warning has been issued to drivers with two weeks worth of closures announced for a key M27 junction.
The exit slip road at Junction 5 for Eastleigh will close overnight, starting from today.
The closure will mean that drivers travelling eastbound during certain hours will not be able to exit the motorway at the busy junction.
The slip road closure forms part of the M27 resurfacing works, which will see a new low-noise asphalt surface laid to replace the existing road.
This comes after years of noise complaints from residents in West End, living near to the M27.

As part of the scheme, the slip road will also be resurfaced.
The closure will be in place from Wednesday, September 4, to Tuesday, September 17, between the hours of 11pm and 7am.
The closures have been implemented during the night in order to minimise the impact on drivers.
This work is being undertaken by National Highways
