Firefighters have rushed to a residential street in Southampton.
Two fire engines were called to an incident on Albert Road South at around 6pm this evening.
The road was blocked off by police as firefighters attended a property.
A Hampshire Fire and Rescue spokesperson has since confirmed that the incident was a false alarm due to a faulty system.
Emergency services have since left the scene.
