Residents in Sholing have taken to social media after a parcel was stolen from a doorstep shortly after being delivered.
Police have said that on Wednesday, September 4, a parcel was taken from a house on Middle Road in Sholing.
Those living in Middle Road took to Facebook to warn other residents, with one writing: “To the gentlemen currently stealing parcels from doorsteps on Middle Road I have you on camera and a clear shot of your face. Return our parcel!”

The resident reported the incident to Hampshire police with a spokesperson adding: “We received a report that at approximately 5.40pm on Wednesday, September 4, a parcel was taken from outside of a house on Middle Road in Southampton.
“This incident is currently under investigation.”
The force also has doorstep theft prevention advice including, installing a video doorbell, a security light or having parcels delivered to an off-site locker service.
