A coastguard helicopter has been seen flying over Southampton.
The helicopter could be seen flying over the Itchen Bridge, shortly after 4pm on Monday, September 9.
HM Coastguard has confirmed that the helicopter – which set off from Lee-on-the-Solent – was not attending an emergency incident but was instead carrying out training exercises with a crew onboard.

A spokesperson for HM Coastguard said: “There are currently no emergency incidents that we’re attending in the area.
“The crew set off from Lee-on-the-Solent and are carrying out training exercises.”
