Drivers will have four National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that two closures already in place are expected to carry on this week.
These are the closures to be aware of
• M27, from 8pm August 12 to 6am September 17, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M27 eastbound, junction 4 to junction 9, slip road and lane closures for major resurfacing work.
• M27, from 6am March 16 2024 to 6am March 20 2026, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M27 both directions, junction 4 to junction 8, Contraflow, narrow lanes and 50mph speed limit in place for major resurfacing work.

And a further two closures will begin over the next two weeks:
• M27, from 8pm September 11 to 6am September 13, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M27 westbound, junction 5, Lane closures for drainage work.
• M27, from 9.30pm September 16 to 6am September 18, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M271 both directions, junction 1, slip road and lane closures for maintenance work.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
