An inquest has opened into the death of a Southampton woman who was found dead in her home.
Mary Diana Myers, 78, was found dead in her home in Outer Circle on December 21, 2023.
She was discovered by members of her family unresponsive at the bottom of her stairs.
The inquest into her death was opened at Winchester Coroner's Court on Wednesday, September 11 by assistant coroner Sally Olsen.

Ms Olsen said that an investigation was underway to see if a stairlift in Ms Myer's home had played a part in her death.
The preliminary cause of death has been given as a head injury.
The full inquest will take place in Winchester on August 13 next year.
