A 16th Century riverside inn with rooms near Romsey has been honoured with a prestigious ROSE Award by VisitEngland.
Staff at The Duke on the Test, in Greatbridge Road, are thrilled with the accolade, which recognises outstanding hospitality across the UK, celebrating accommodation providers that offer exceptional warmth and remarkable guest experiences.
Judges said The Duke on the Test stood out for its exceptional ability to make guests feel welcome and for consistently providing an enriching experience.

The much-loved pub was reopened by former Saints manager Lawrie McMenemy in the summer of 2022.
