An investigation has been launched into a man who allegedly broke into a car, stole a wallet, and went on a spending spree.
The incident, which involved the theft of a wallet from a vehicle and subsequent use of a bank card in two shops, totalling £147.14.
The incident occurred between 2pm and 3pm on Monday, August 19, at The Square Pennington near Lymington.
Police have issued an image of a man they would like to identify in connection with the theft.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Police said: “We believe the man in this image can help us with our investigation and would urge him, or anyone who knows his identity, to get in touch with us.
“Also, if you witnessed the incident, saw anything suspicious in the area at the time, or have any CCTV, mobile phone, dash cam or doorbell camera footage which could aid our investigation, please contact us.”
