A man has been charged with shoplifting offences after items worth more than £23,000 were stolen from Boots stores across Hampshire.
Ionel Elvis Dulea, 47, of Stephenson Street, Gateshead, has been charged with seven counts of theft from a shop and one count of attempted theft.
All of the alleged incidents date back to March 2024, affecting Boots stores in Fareham, Andover, and Aldershot.
In three separate incidents between May and July, more than £13,400 worth of skincare and cosmetics products was stolen from Boots in Fareham.
In two separate incidents in June and August, more than £6,000 worth of skincare and cosmetics products was stolen from Boots in Andover.

There was a further attempted theft of more than £800 worth of skincare products from the same store in March.
In two separate incidents in August, more than £3,800 worth of skincare products was stolen from a Boots store in Aldershot.
Dulea was due to appear at Basingstoke Magistrates Court on Thursday.
