Maritime UK Solent has appointed two new non-executive directors to its board.
Jamie Holmes, co-founder and director of NASH Maritime Ltd, and Jane Taylor, people director for BAE Systems Maritime Services, have joined the board.
Mr Holmes brings 20 years of experience in the maritime infrastructure sector.
Ms Taylor has extensive HR leadership experience within the local maritime sector and other private-sector industries.
They join board directors from various Solent maritime sector organisations, including education, reflecting Maritime UK Solent's government-recognised role as the industry voice.
Anne-Marie Mountifield, Chair of Maritime UK Solent, said: “The Solent is recognised as a global leader in the maritime sector. We are looking to build on our existing assets and leverage the potential of the sector, facilitating high value innovation and enterprise, opening up access to new global markets.
“I’m delighted to welcome them both to the Board as we move our outstanding maritime cluster to a new and exciting era.”
