A man was left with injuries to his face and head after being in a 'car crash' during a fight near a bar in Shirley.
At around 12.15am on Saturday, September 28, police received a report of an 'altercation' taking place on Shirley Road, close to Rio's Bar.
It was reported that a man had been involved in a collision with a silver Nissan Juke 4x4 during the incident.

Officers went down and found a man in his 20s with minor injuries to his face and head.
As part of their investigation, officers arrested a 26-year-old man from Southampton on suspicion of attempting to cause grievous bodily harm.
He has been released from police custody on conditional bail.
A police spokesperson said: "If you were outside of Rio's Bar at around 12.15am on Saturday and saw what happened, or have any information that may assist our enquiries, please call 101 quoting the reference number 44240421187."
