A man has died following a crash on the Itchen Bridge.
Just before 7.15pm on Wednesday, September 25, a man was walking on the landmark when he became involved in a collision with a motorcycle.
The Southampton resident, aged in his 50s, was taken to hospital in a life-threatening condition.
He died on Sunday, police have now confirmed, as they renew their appeal for witnesses.
A police spokesperson said: "We are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the collision, in particular anyone who may have dash-cam footage.
"If you have any information would could assist our enquiries, then please call 101, quoting the reference 44240417434."
As part of the investigation, the motorcycle rider, a 31-year-old man from Southampton, was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
He has been released on police bail until 22 December.
