A teenager arrested in connection to a bomb hoax that saw six schools evacuated has been released from police bail but remains under investigation, according to Hampshire police.
A 13-year-old boy from Southampton was arrested on suspicion of communicating false information by means of a bomb hoax in June.
An anonymous caller left fake threats on voicemails and phone calls across two days between Tuesday 25 and Wednesday 26 of June.

Officers searched Bitterne Park School, Banister Park School, Regents Park Community College, St Anne’s Catholic Girl’s Secondary School, Saint George Catholic College and Weston Secondary School for evidence of a bomb - but none was found.
Three months on, a spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary said: “He has been released from police bail but remains under investigation while our enquiries continue.”
