A senior detective responsible for violent sex cases has been slammed by his own force after he struck up sexual relationships with junior police staff and bragged he was a 'bad ass' and could be their 'sugar daddy'.
Former DCI Roger Wood was criticised by Hampshire Constabulary for his 'wholly unacceptable' actions that have 'no place in a modern, inclusive force'.
The married detective told one young staff member he had 'solved all the stranger rapes' in the area, a misconduct hearing was told.
And after having sex with one woman at her home, he told the woman 'now you've had the DCI'.
DCI Wood said that at that meeting the trainee investigator bragged about going to sex parties with other cops.

The senior detective has now been found guilty of gross misconduct for an 'exploitative relationship' with a woman known only as Ms A and guilty of misconduct for his relationship and 'excessive communications' with another woman referred to as Ms B.
A misconduct panel found he would have been dismissed without notice had he not already left the force and placed him on the College of Policing Barred list.
Deputy Chief Constable Sam de Reya said: "I would like to thank these two women for their courage and resilience that they have shown throughout and their participation within this misconduct process.
"While it was accepted that both relationships were consensual, DCI Wood’s position as a senior leader within the organisation, and the known vulnerabilities of both women, meant that he should have known better.
"Let me be clear, this was not about relationships at work. This was about an imbalance of power whereby a senior officer abused his position to pursue relationships with vulnerable women, and in relation to Ms A, for his own sexual gratification.
"Roger Wood’s behaviour was wholly unacceptable and has no place in a modern, inclusive police service."
The hearing, held at Hampshire Police HQ in Eastleigh was told Ms A was at her 'lowest' when she met DCI Wood and on medication for anxiety and depression following a relationship breakdown.
