National Paralympic Heritage Trust to host David Smith OBE

The National Paralympic Heritage Trust (NPHT) is set to host a special event featuring Britain's most decorated boccia player, David Smith OBE.

The Eastleigh-born, three-time Paralympic champion will share insights into his sporting success and motivate attendees to pursue their own achievements.

David said: "Success and empowerment is possible for anyone determined and willing to grab it."

His journey in boccia began at the age of six, and by 18, he was a double world champion.

Diagnosed with cerebral palsy at one, David has become the most decorated boccia player of all time.

The NPHT will host two online sessions on July 4, one for primary schools and another for secondary schools and adults.

Both sessions will feature a British Sign Language interpreter.
