A dashcam video has emerged showing the shocking moment a double-decker bus carrying college students crashed into a river.
The video, sent in by Bruno Aguiar, shows the Bluestar 607 bus hurtling down the road, moving into the wrong lane and then straight into the River Itchen.
The bus was full of youngsters, and a total of 17 people were reported as being injured.
Three "high priority" patients have been taken to the hospital, South Central Ambulance Service said.

It is understood that the bus was carrying children from Wickham, Swanmore and Bishop's Waltham.
Barton Peveril College has issued a statement confirming the bus was carrying students and saying they are working with police.
The driver of the bus has been branded a "hero" after he told an eyewitness that his "accelerator was jammed".
Police and emergency services remain on the scene, and the bus has not yet been recovered from the river.
