Loganair is seeking the UK's longest-distance friendships.
The regional airline, which has a base at Southampton Airport, aims to reunite one pair of friends with complimentary flights.
Launched on July 31, the competition is part of Loganair's Season of Connections campaign.
It targets friendships that have stood the test of distance and time, including childhood pals separated by miles or university flatmates who haven't reunited since graduation.
These long-distance friends are invited to share their stories on Loganair's Instagram and Facebook channels.
The most compelling tale will earn the friends return flights to each other's city.
This competition comes after the success of Loganair's Christmas giveaway, "Loganair, Actually," which gifted a year of free flights to one fortunate winner.
Lyn MacDonald, head of marketing and brand at Loganair, said: "This campaign is all about celebrating the real, meaningful connections that define our lives, and demonstrating the role regional travel can play in bringing people together.
"Whether it's been months or years since friends last met in person, we want to help make that reunion possible."
The competition will run until August 17.

The winning pair will be announced later this summer, with their reunion taking place in the autumn.
Loganair's expansive network of flights provides ample opportunities for passengers across the UK and beyond to explore a variety of destinations.
The airline's baggage allowance ensures that passengers can pack all they need for trips to reunite with their loved ones.
As the UK's leading regional airline, Loganair connects communities across the UK, from remote islands like Orkney, the Isle of Man, and Guernsey, to bustling business centres, including Manchester, Glasgow, and Edinburgh.
Its codeshare agreements with partner airlines, including British Airways and KLM, extend the reach even further.
Earlier this year, Loganair was ranked second in the Which? annual customer survey of short-haul airlines, with a 72 per cent customer score.
The airline received a five-star rating for customer service and four-star ratings for booking, boarding, and cleanliness.
