A beloved pub with a 300-year-old legacy is set to reopen "in August" after temporarily closing at the end of July.
The Hunters Inn on Cott Street in Swanmore, which is infamous for being haunted, stopped trading at 6pm on July 27 following the "very difficult" decision to close.
A statement from Darren Williams, the director of operations of the GHEI Group which runs the pub, said the owners needed to "establish how best to operate the business moving forward".
However, the latest social media post from the pub hints that the watering hole should be reopening within the next few weeks.

To much fanfare online, a spokesperson for The Hunters Inn said: "We’re touched to see the impact The Hunters Inn has on our local community.
"The purpose of our temporary closure was to give our new pub manager time to settle in, get things just right, and open the doors with a proper smile, a good chat, and a cold pint.
"Thank you for the passion, the heartfelt history, and the feedback. We’re still here, still local, and reopening this month, August.
"We can’t wait to raise a glass with you all once again and continue making memories for many more generations to come."
