A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after the death of a woman in her 30s in Southampton.
The woman died at a house in Redwood Way, Bassett, with police arresting a 39-year-old man from Southampton.
Police had been called to the house by paramedics at 1.38pm on Sunday. Officers said initial investigations led to the arrest.

The man has been bailed while police continue their enquiries and the woman's family has been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.
Hampshire police cars have been positioned on Redwood Way since Sunday and eyewitnesses have reported seeing a "large police and forensic presence" with "dozens" of officers on the scene ever since.
A spokesperson for Hampshire police said: "Officers remain in the area of Redwood Way as part of our ongoing enquires.
