There may be more victims than police are aware of after a man was arrested following a series of Evri parcel thefts in Eastleigh.

A 48-year-old man has been arrested following the thefts.

Police said the suspect was detained on Tuesday in connection with several separate thefts involving packages due to be delivered by courier firm Evri.

Officers believe a number of incidents have taken place on the Stoneham estate, though the offences could extend to other areas of the Hampshire town.

A spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary said: "We are aware of several reports and that there be many more offences that have occurred and not been reported.

"The location of the offences may be a lot wider."
