It has been recently reported of a shortage of driving instructors and a horrendous waiting time for would be students of months.
Although the streets are lined with illegal parked cars the demand goes on and a traffic jam seen on most highways.
The answer from the city council is to shutoff more footage and then to arrange parking companies to up their charges to increase suffering.

The Westquay, the only big shopping centre, is now put beyond the average motorist firstly by arrival, secondly by cost.
Everywhere the humble cycle is cosseted by the brethren at the Civic Centre, you know by the highways very little used with useless unused cycle lanes and the quantity of old iron waiting to be scrapped.
You may read this and think I am anti cyclist, you are wrong, most of us non pedestrians always had the apprenticeship.
I lay the blame squarely on the city council who probably still go to the office with cycle clips on, and also heavily masked, because they don’t appreciate what is going on.
We are, if you hadn’t noticed become a university town.
More flats than ever before.
Are we endeavouring to emulate Oxford!
Do they renovate enough income to make them indispensable to the economy.
How many are motorists.
I say, in the next election vote them out or alternatively issue spectacles.
