One of the biggest ships in the UK has begun a new winter deployment in the Southern Caribbean for the 2025–26 season before returning to the city in summer.

MSC Virtuosa reached the region after completing scheduled maintenance work at European facilities, followed by an Atlantic voyage that concluded in Martinique toward the end of November.

The 16-day relocation sailing originated in Southampton, calling at ports in France and Portugal before crossing to the Caribbean.

Upon arrival, the Meraviglia-class vessel visited several islands, including Barbados, St. Kitts, Antigua and Dominica, before berthing in Fort-de-France in early December.

The winter schedule continues until early April, after which the ship will sail back to Northern Europe for a final summer based in Southampton.

Looking ahead, Virtuosa is set to debut in South America in 2026–27 with cruises along Brazil’s coastline, before moving to the Mediterranean in 2027.
