A play park costing tens of thousands has divided opinion.
The new £90,000 Marine Parade play park in Lee-on-the-Solent was opened by Gosport Borough Council on March 17.
The opening has sparked mixed reactions from residents on Facebook with some praising the investment and others questioning its suitability and value.

One commenter, Paul Jacobs said: "£90k for this plus £25k to remove the skate park and tarmac last year.
"No consultation took place to ask residents what they may want in the play park – I submitted a FOI."
Another comment left by Nigel Raymond said: "I would love to know the costings that have been spent for the original skate park then closed due to safety concerns and why the contractors were not called back to rectify the issues to make safe, as it was very popular with our younger generation.
"Moving on, what are the costings for the removal and construction of the new play park? Lee-on-the-Solent is predominantly an elderly community and would surely have been aimed at bringing our local community together, such as a garden with bandstand for entertainment etc. We already have a pirate play park right next to the new one. Just asking."
Others were more supportive of the project,
John King said: "Well done everyone involved with the project. Just in time for the Easter break."
Ron Taylor, added: "What a miserable moaning load of people, no matter what was put on that site you would still have to moan. Swimming pool, ice rink, ballroom, cinema, pub, fairground or hotel – it would still be wrong. Can’t please everyone, eh."
The facility is aimed at older children and teenagers and includes a ninja-themed adventure trail and an outdoor gym.
Councillor Peter Chegwyn, leader of Gosport Borough Council, said: "I am delighted to open Gosport's latest new play and fitness facility, which we have created especially for older children who often get overlooked and lack things to do, as well as somewhere for adults to keep fit and socialise.
"Outdoor activity is so important for people's health and wellbeing.
"That's why the council has created over £1m of new sport and leisure facilities across Gosport over the last 12 months, with more to come for our residents to enjoy different activities and sports."
